Happy Sunday, everybody! The lovely Larissa over at Book Bosomed Blonde nominated me for the End of the Year Book Tag (thanks Larissa!) and I am so glad she did because I could not think what to post this lovely morning. Now let’s get to these delightful questions!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

YES.

  • Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardous
  • Asrian Skies by Anne Wheeler
  • The Stolen Throne by David Gaider
  • Eldest by Christopher Paolini
  • Winter’s Tale by Mark Helprin
  • Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
  • The Shining by Stephan King
  • The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
  • The Assassin Game by Kirsty McKay

No pressure whats-so-ever.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

I like to read fantasy in the fall most of the time. Magic, creatures, worlds . . . I don’t know, they just seem to fit more during this time than the Spring or Summer.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

For this year? Yes!

The Princess of Ceshela by Teralyn Mitchell coming out on the 22nd this month!

Other than that, no.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

From my list above . . .

  1. Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardous (halfway)
  2. Asrian Skies by Anne Wheeler (First chapter)
  3. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (a 4th of the way through)

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

I haven’t really gotten into Six of Crows, so if I finish it and end up liking it to the point that it’ll end up on my favorites list, that will shock me.
